Board of Directors
SECRETARY
Susan Gilbride
My husband Bill and I purchased unit #122 in January 2022. We purchased Port Au Villa sight unseen because we knew that our location in Naples was where we wanted to be, and our community is right in the sweetest part of town. PAV is a jewel that needs to be treated as such. I fully support making PAV the best it can be for all of its residents. I have lived in Grosse Pointe, Michigan most of my life. Bill and I have three married, adult daughters and four grandsons. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Wayne State University and I was a top selling real estate sales person for many years. I have served on two non-profit boards in Detroit, and ultimately became president of each one. I have served on various committees at our summer home community and like being active in our communities. I am a good listener, even handed, friendly, experienced and community oriented.
TERM: MARCH 2025 thru MARCH 2027
VICE PRESIDENT

TERM: MARCH 2025 thru MARCH 2027
PRESIDENT
Cheryl Herrmann
Bill and I have enjoyed “farm life” in Ohio since 1977. However, after retirement, we searched for a small beach community where we could relax throughout the winter season. From the moment we found Port au Villa our hearts were full - so many neighbors who feel like family!
During my Dental Hygiene career I was very active in my professional association and served in many leadership positions, including President of the Ohio Dental Hygienists’ Association and member of the Ohio State Dental Board’s Law and Rules Review Committee. I quickly learned that collaboration achieves best outcomes.
With my 2nd Board term, my commitment to Port au Villa remains steadfast. I will continue to assist our Board with development of plans intended to advance our community’s future security, beauty and joyful lifestyle.
1st TERM: MARCH 2022 thru MARCH 2024 2nd TERM: MARCH 2024 thru MARCH 2026
TREASURER
Scott Sparr
My wife, Carolyn Singer, and I are now enjoying our fourth season at PAV. I was fortunate to have a long career in Financial Services, mostly in New York City and am now making the absolute most out of retirement. Originally from Boston, I have truly enjoyed meeting so many neighbors and new friends from other parts of the country and the world and enjoy chatting and socializing within our community from the parking lot to the pool. My wife and I have no shortage of interests that we are enthusiastic about and grateful to be able to enjoy every day that we spend in Naples. My deep appreciation of this and my love of the PAV community is a strong motivator for my stepping forward to volunteer my experience, knowledge, and time for the benefit of the community.
TERM: MARCH 2025 thru MARCH 2027
BOARD DIRECTOR
Franny Judkins
Baltimore is my home; however my family and I have been enjoying the Port au Villa community for many winters. During 2001-2003 I served as a PAV Board Director and enjoyed the opportunity. Then, in 2015, I took the initiative to transform PAV’s original buildings from a red brick exterior into the vibrant, Florida inspired look – white stucco accented with marine blue bohemian shutters. The successful outcome enhanced our property both visually and in appraised value.
My passion for beautification projects continues! I enjoy participating in the decision-making processes that shape our community’s look and feel.
